TREATING GUN SHOT WOUNDS AND SEVERE BLEEDING
This 90-Minute hands on classroom experience will provide you the knowledge and skills to help stop severe bleeding in emergency situations. Severe bleeding can be fatal in less than 90 seconds. Knowing what to do ahead of time can mean the difference between life and death.
From gunshot or knife wounds to car accidents, being able to slow and stop bleeding until professional medical help arrives is a life saving skill you need to know. This class is a module taken from the USCCA (United States Concealed Carry Associations) Emergency First Aid Fundamentals. In this class you will learn and demonstrate your ability to use pressure dressings, different types of tourniquets, chest seals and more.
If you own a firearm, are a Concealed Carry Holder, a parent, teacher or a member of a Congregation - You have good reasons to take this class. Adults and teenagers are welcome.
